This has to be a Haus favourite - this amazing gird design is so contemporary, but the undulations in the dyeing itself give it a whole other edge that you just don't get from mass-production. The tones are beautiful and it would sit easily in any collection.

What is Shibori?
Shibori is the Japanese word for the ways in which textiles can be embellished by shaping and binding before dyeing. The word comes from the verb root shiboru, "to wring, squeeze, press." Although shibori is used to designate a particular group of resist-dyed textiles, the verb root of the word actually centres around this process of folding and shaping the material. Rather than treating cloth as a two-dimensional surface, with shibori it is given a three-dimensional form by folding, crumpling, stitching, plaiting, or plucking and twisting. This gives the artisan nearly unlimited design possibilities, resulting in some truly beautiful results.
Although covers have been washed and pressed, colours may still transfer onto lighter furniture. Caution is advised.
Washing Instructions: hand wash separately in cold / luke warm water with natural soap. Dry on a flat surface in the shade.
